We believe in transparency. This policy explains exactly what data TIQFiT collects from users and business owners, why we collect it, and how we protect it — including our AI features, GPS location handling, and lead generation.
TIQFiT ("we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use the TIQFiT platform — India's sports and fitness business listing directory. This policy has been updated to reflect the enhanced features of our platform, including AI-powered listing assistance, GPS location tools, lead generation, and cloud media storage.
1. Information We Collect
Account & Profile Information: When you register on TIQFiT, we collect your mobile number for OTP-based authentication. If you complete your user profile, we also collect your full name, gender, date of birth, user type (e.g. Athlete, Coach, Parent), city, state, pin code, sports interests, skill level, and play type.
Business Listing Information: If you list a sports or fitness business, we collect the business name, address, contact details (phone, website, social links), category, locality, pin code, GPS coordinates, working hours, training programs and fees, amenities, facility details, photos, and any other details you provide.
AI Autofill Data: If you use our AI-powered listing assistant, the raw text you paste into the tool is sent to a third-party AI processing service (Groq) to extract structured listing details. We do not permanently store the raw input text after processing. See Section 8 for details.
GPS & Location Data: With your explicit browser permission, we may access your device's GPS coordinates to help pin your business location on the map. Location access is requested only when you use the "Use my current location" feature and is never tracked in the background.
Uploaded Media: Photos you upload to your business listing are stored on secure cloud storage (DigitalOcean Spaces CDN). We retain these files for as long as your listing remains active.
Lead Data: When a registered user reveals a business's contact details by completing their profile, we record a lead event that includes the user's name and contact information. This is shared with the relevant business as a qualified lead.
Usage Data: We collect information about how you use TIQFiT — pages visited, searches performed, filters applied, business profiles viewed, and time spent on the platform.
Device & Technical Information: We may collect your device type, operating system, browser type, and IP address for security, analytics, and platform optimisation.
2. How We Use Your Information
3. Information Sharing
We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We may share information only in the following circumstances:
Business Listings (Public): Information submitted as part of a business listing — name, address, phone number, category, photos, programs, and facilities — is displayed publicly on TIQFiT.
Lead Sharing: When a user completes their profile and reveals a business contact number, that user's name and contact details are shared with the business as a lead. Users are informed of this at the point of profile completion.
AI Processing: When you use the AI autofill feature, the text you paste is sent to Groq (an AI infrastructure provider) for processing. Groq processes this data under its own data handling terms. We send only the raw text you explicitly provide; no personally identifiable account data is transmitted.
Reverse Geocoding: When you use GPS or click the map to set your business location, your coordinates are sent to OpenStreetMap Nominatim (an open-source geocoding service) to retrieve a human-readable address. No account information is transmitted.
Media Storage: Business photos are stored on DigitalOcean Spaces, a cloud storage and CDN provider, under confidentiality and security obligations.
Analytics Providers: We may use anonymised, aggregated usage data with analytics tools to understand platform usage patterns.
Legal Requirements: We may disclose information when required by law, court order, or a competent government authority in India.
4. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including: encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS), OTP-based authentication with no passwords stored in plain text, role-based access controls so only authorised personnel can access sensitive data, and securely managed API keys and credentials.
Business listing data that is intentionally made public (address, phone, category, photos) is visible to all users by design. Only submit information you are comfortable making publicly accessible.
Uploaded images are served through DigitalOcean's CDN with access controls. Deleted images are removed from storage within a reasonable timeframe after listing deletion.
No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure. We encourage you to keep your account OTP private and never share your login access with others.
5. Data Retention
We retain your personal and business information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide our services.
If you delete your account, we will remove your personal profile data from active systems. Business listings associated with your account may be deactivated or transferred if claimed by the business owner.
Uploaded media files are deleted from cloud storage when a listing is permanently removed.
Lead records may be retained for a limited period for analytics and dispute resolution purposes.
Certain records may be retained beyond account closure for legal compliance, fraud prevention, or regulatory purposes as required by applicable Indian law.
You may request deletion of your account and data at any time by contacting help@tiqfit.com.
6. Cookies & Tracking
TIQFiT uses essential cookies and local storage (e.g. authentication tokens, user session data) to maintain your logged-in state and provide core platform functionality.
We may use analytics tools with anonymised tracking to understand how users navigate the platform and improve the experience. No personally identifiable information is sent to analytics providers.
We do not use cookies for cross-site advertising and do not sell cookie or tracking data to advertisers.
You can manage or disable cookies through your browser settings. Disabling essential cookies may affect your ability to log in or use certain platform features.
7. Location Data
We request access to your device's location only when you explicitly click "Use my current location" on the business listing map. This is used solely to pin your business location and is not tracked passively.
Coordinates you provide (via GPS or map click) are sent to OpenStreetMap's Nominatim service for reverse geocoding to auto-fill address fields. This is a one-time request per pin action.
You can deny location permission in your browser at any time. You can still manually enter or adjust your location on the map without granting GPS access.
8. AI Features & Third-Party Processing
TIQFiT offers an AI-powered listing assistant that helps businesses fill out their listing form quickly. When you use this feature, the raw text you provide is transmitted to Groq (an AI cloud infrastructure provider) via their API for processing.
We do not store the raw input text you provide to the AI assistant after the response is returned. The structured output (extracted fields) is stored as part of your listing if you choose to use it.
The AI output is a suggestion only. You are fully responsible for reviewing, correcting, and confirming all AI-prefilled information before submitting your listing. TIQFiT is not liable for inaccuracies in AI-generated content.
By using the AI listing assistant, you consent to your input text being processed by Groq under their applicable terms and privacy policy.
9. Children's Privacy
TIQFiT is intended for users who are at least 13 years of age. Business listings may only be submitted by adults (18 years and above) or with explicit parental or guardian consent.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has created an account or submitted data on TIQFiT, please contact us at help@tiqfit.com and we will take prompt action to remove it.
10. Your Rights
As a user of TIQFiT, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:
Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
Correction: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information on your account or listing.
Deletion: Request deletion of your account and associated personal data.
Portability: Request a portable copy of your listing or account data.
Withdraw Consent: Withdraw consent for location access or AI processing at any time by adjusting your browser permissions or not using those features.
Opt-Out: Opt out of non-essential communications such as promotional emails or platform updates.

11. Third-Party Links
Business listings on TIQFiT may contain links to external websites, social media profiles, or third-party booking platforms. TIQFiT is not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those external sites.
We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party sites you visit through links on TIQFiT.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, or legal requirements. When we make material changes, we will notify you via a notice on the platform or by email.
Continued use of TIQFiT after the effective date of an updated Privacy Policy constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
